Bedford County Released Inmates is a private reference, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, release anyone, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the agency that maintains the record.
Official Bedford Record Contacts
The correct office depends on the record and custody system. Ask the jail for an actual Bedford County custody exit, the clerk for the legal order or case result, TDOC for a state felony file, and the Board for a parole decision. The contacts below come from Bedford County and Tennessee agency materials. Confirm holiday access and any current copying charge before visiting.

Tennessee Department of Correction Records

Nashville, TN 37243-0465
Phone: 615-253-8079
Use FOIL first for a felony offender currently or formerly in TDOC custody or supervision. Records Management handles archived state custody and release history when the public result is absent or too limited. The agency may assess archive-search charges and will provide the applicable amount.
Tennessee Board of Parole and VINE
Tennessee Board of Parole500 James Robertson Parkway, 4th Floor
Nashville, TN 37243-0850
Phone: 615-741-1150
Email: BOP.Webmail@tn.gov
Tennessee VINE support: 888-868-4631
TDOC Victim Services: victim.notification@tn.gov
The Board can route hearing schedule questions and a final-decision request. A parole decision does not prove physical release. VINE support assists with Tennessee custody searches and notification registration, while the source jail or TDOC record remains the place to confirm release type and destination.
Choose a starting point based on the task rather than sending the same question to every office:
- For a released person or release report, begin with the Bedford County release search and records path, then ask the jail for the source event.
- For supervision after release, use Bedford probation and parole information. County misdemeanor probation and TDOC felony supervision are separate systems.
- For a same-day jail departure, follow the Jail Releases: 24 Hours phone and targeted-record procedure because Bedford publishes no verified feed.
- For an expected state release date or custody alert, compare Projected Release with the VINELink Inmate Search.
- For a facility-specific question, use the Bedford County Jail or Juvenile Detention Center page listed in the footer. Juvenile information is not available through the adult public route.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, search TDOC FOIL by name or TOMIS number and verify the matching person before reading status or release information.
- For federal prison custody, use the BOP Inmate Locator. For an immigration transfer, use the ICE Online Detainee Locator; neither system covers an ordinary Bedford jail booking.
